What kind of toy should I get my puppy for when he's home alone?
I worry about Jasper when he's home by himself. There aren't any other animals, and I don't want him to be bored or lonely. What kind of toys would keep him occupied until I get back from work?

If he's not in a kennel, one thing you can do is hide treats around the house. It will be fun for him to find them when you're gone. Just make sure not to put them close to things he might want to chew up.

Hiding treats sounds like a really good idea. Another thing that a lot of people recommend is giving your dog a Kong with treats in it.

I've heard of peple leaving their radios or t.v.s on for the noise. The grooming place I take my dog to has an open space for some of the dogs to stay in after they're groomed, and they have a dog dvd palying.

I have a couple of those toys that have little stuffed animals in them that the dog has to pull out. My maltese, Dee, loves to play with them. its so cute because the whole toy is pretty much as big as her

Hi, Bryan

We just posted a blog all about interactive dog toys. It's called Why You Need Interactive Dog Toys. You should check it out, and in the meantime, we carry lots of interactive dogs toys on our site.

You can look at Kongs, as well as other options, such as Dura Doggie's Beba Toy, Bionic Bone, or Jolly Pets Monster Ball, which also helps to keep your dog's teeth clean.

There are a lot of options available. Keep looking on the blog and q&a page. Our writers and our customers have lots of good advice!

Thanks for posting!
