Why does my dog hump?
Seriously, almost every dog does it, but it's annoying. Is it really just a submission thing? If it is, then why does my dog hump furniture?

It can be a submission thing, but it can also have other meanings. I took my puppy to classes, and the trainor addressed the issue several times because it's important to try to get them to stop at a young age, or else it can be really difficult. Some dogs do it for fun or because it feels good, but sometimes it can mean that their privates are irritated.
